Gel Manicures & Gel Overlays
DO

Be especially careful in the first 24 hours after application and avoid intense heat during this period (for example saunas, hot baths, sunbeds etc)

Use cuticle oil daily to keep your nails nourished, to stimulate growth and prevent lifting.

Dry the hands thoroughly after washing and apply moisturiser.

Always wear rubber gloves when washing up, cleaning or gardening.

Always wash your hands thoroughly after being in contact with chlorine, insect repellent or sunscreen.

Wear gloves when cooking with spices such as turmeric or curry powders as they can stain the nails. Dye from new jeans or newly colour hair can also stain gel polish.

Always return to the salon for maintenance and removal and follow any advice given to you by your nail technician.

If you experience the enhancement lifting from your natural nails, do not pick it off or flue it down. Both of these can cause damage to your natural nail. Please contact us for a nail replacement service which we will do our best to fit you in.

AVOID

Standard Polish Manicures

You must be extra careful with your nail polish manicure in the first 1-2 hours after application to prevent smudging. Nail polish is usually touch dry within 10 minutes, but it takes 1-2 hours for nail polish to dry completely.

Brow Shaping and Tinting Aftercare Advice

To ensure the very best from your brow treatment, please follow this aftercare advice.

No heat treatments for 24hrs including sunbeds, sauna, steam room etc

Avoid make up in the area around the brow for 24hrs

Avoid fake tan for 24hrs

Rebook your next appointment for 3-4 weeks to keep the colour and shape
Lash Lift and Tint Aftercare Advice

To ensure the very best from your lash lift and tint, please follow this aftercare advice:

Lashes should not come into contact with any water or steam for 48 hours

You should brush your lashes daily with the brush that you are provided with

Do not use mechanical curlers as these can break the lashes

Eyes should be patted dry, never rubbed

Remove all eye make-up gently with an oil free remover

A lash nourishing lotion (which will be provided for you to take home) shoukd be applied daily to ensure the lashes do not dry out

Avoid further eye treatments for 24 hours so the eyes don't become over sensitised

Avoid the use of eye make-up for 24 hours

If any irritation or inflamation occurs, contact your GP or other health professional and inform me immediately

Eyelash Extension Aftercare

Avoid getting your lashes wet for the first 24 hours after application to allow the adhesive to fully cure.

Be gentle when cleansing your face and avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes.

Use oil-free make up remover to prevent weakening the adhesive bond.

Avoid using mascara on your extensions, as it can cause clumping and premature shedding.

Brush your lash daily with a clean mascara wand to keep them looking neat and to prevent crushing your lashes.

Avoid using oil-based skin care products around the eye area, as they can break down the adhesive.

Schedule regular touch-up appointments every 2 - 3 weeks to maintain the fullness of your lashes.
